Delicious creamy crab entree can be served alone with a side of green vegetables or over a bed of brown rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Crabmeat au Gratin

4 teaspoons flour
4 teaspoons butter
12 ounces skim milk
2 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
2 oz. shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
1 pound crab

Recipe Directions for Crabmeat au Gratin

  1. Make the white sauce with the flour, butter and canned skim milk. Stir until thickened.

  2. Add one half of the cheeses.

  3. Stir until cheeses are melted.

  4. Saute crab meat in pan using butter spray. Then put the crab into a casserole dish.

  5. Pour the white sauce over the crab and stir to mix.

  6. Sprinkle the remainer of shredded cheeses over top of casserole.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned. Can be served over brown rice.
