A quick way to use up left-over crab

Recipe Ingredients for Crab Pasta

2 cups peas
2 cups corn
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 salt
1 pepper
1 tablespoon dried basil
2 cups crab
8 ounces pasta
3 ounces fresh parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Crab Pasta

  1. Obtain the crab - shreds are OK. This can be freshly cooked for this recipe or left-over from a previous meal.

  2. Cook bow-tie or other large pasta according to package directions.

  3. While the pasta is boiling, pour the frozen corn and peas in a microwaveable dish. Add 2 tablespoons of water, cover, and microwave for 2 minutes on high.

  4. When the pasta is finished, drain it.

  5. Pour the oil, salt, pepper, and basil (or other herbs) over the pasta.

  6. Replace the lid and shake the pot (or toss with two spoons).

  7. Serve in bowls, then grate a half ounce of fresh parmesan cheese on the top of each serving.
