Home made crab cakes. More crab, less filling.

Recipe Ingredients for Crab Cakes

1 cup crab
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Crab Cakes

  1. Mix all ingredients together with a wooden spoon or by hand.

  2. Divide into fourths. Pat each quarter into a patty.

  3. Preheat skillet (I use a cast iron skillet) and drizzle extra virgin olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan. Fry patties 1 to 2 minutes per side or until crisp and brown.
