Recipe Ingredients for Crab Cakes

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 green onions, chopped
6 ounces Crab, canned
1 egg
1 tablespoon lite mayonnaise
1 teaspoon dry mustard
14 crackers, crushed
1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

Recipe Directions for Crab Cakes

  1. Saute green onion in 1 tablespoon oil and set aside.

  2. Combine crab, egg, mayonnaise, dry mustard, crackers, cayenne powder, garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper in a bowl.

  3. Combine bread crumbs with 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning.

  4. Shape mixture into four patties. Dredge in bread crumb mixture and fry in remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil, about 4 minutes each side.
