Recipe Ingredients for Cows milk Free, Rice lasagna

2 lbs. Beef, Ground, 90% Lean Meat / 10% Fat, Crumbles
1 large Onions
30 ounce Tomato Products
1 cup Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular
28 grams Chevretine Goat's Milk Cheese
100 grams Unflavored Sheep's Milk Yogurt

Recipe Directions for Cows milk Free, Rice lasagna

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease a 9x12 casserole dish. Pan-fry ground beef and chopped carrot, zucchini and onion. Add tomato sauce and simmer 20 minutes. Layer this mixture across the bottom of greased dish. Cook 1 cup rice as directed on package. Add yoghurt and 1/3 of the cheese. Stir until well blended. Layer this mixture over the beef mixture in the greased dish. Top with layer of remaining grated goats cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until meat mixture is bubbling.
