Recipe Ingredients for Couscous with sausage, almonds and raisins

2 1/2 link Turkey sausage
1/2 medium onion, diced
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 celery stalk, medium
2 tbsp. golden raisins
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup uncooked couscous
1 tbsp. slivered almonds

Recipe Directions for Couscous with sausage, almonds and raisins

  1. In a non-stick saucepan cook sausage over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.

  2. Stir in onion, cumin, cinnamon, cook until onion has softened. Stir in chicken broth and raisins and bring to a simmer.

  3. Stir in couscous, cover, remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.

  4. Fluff with a fork, sprinkle with almonds.
