Easy, tasty way to use leftover couscous

Recipe Ingredients for couscous cakes

1 cup, cooked Couscous, Cooked
4 tbsp Grated Parmesan and Romano Cheese
2 tbsp Parsley
1 tsp Garlic Powder
25 grams Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 large Egg, Yolk
2 tbsp Olive Oil
0.25 cup Traditional Pasta Sauce

Recipe Directions for couscous cakes

  1. Mix couscous, egg yolk, cheese, parsley, garlic powder and flour until well blended

  2. Heat oil in skillet.

  3. Press couscous mixture into a flat, round 1/3 cup measure to form cakes

  4. Fry cakes in oil 3-4 minutes each side

  5. Serve with spaghetti sauce
