Recipe Ingredients for Country Captain Chicken

6 ounces chicken breast
14 1/2 ounce stewed tomatoes
1/2 medium onion
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup parsley
1 tablespoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons almonds, slivered

Recipe Directions for Country Captain Chicken

  1. Place all the ingredients except the chicken and almonds in a skillet and simmer.

  2. Add the chicken, cover and simmer for 35 to 45 minutes.

  3. Serve over hot rice topped with the slivered almonds.
