Use raisins or other fruit. Very good.

Recipe Ingredients for Cottage Pudding

1 cup flour
1 cup white sugar
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup soy milk
1 cup blueberries
2 cups water (boiling)
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp butter
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Cottage Pudding

  1. Mix the first 5 ingredients and pour into a baking dish.

  2. Mix the other 3 separately and pour over the batter

  3. Bake at 350 F for about 30 minutes.
