Lovely yummy cottage pie. Just like me mum's!

Recipe Ingredients for Cottage Pie

400 g lean ground beef
1/2 tablespoon oil
100 g frozen peas
1 onion
1 tsp beef stock
1 clove garlic
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
500 g potatoes
3 tbspn ICBINB! Light
3 tbspn semi-skimmed milk
3 tsp gravy

Recipe Directions for Cottage Pie

  1. Finely chop onions and fry with mince and oil until browned.

  2. At the same time boil the peeled potatoes.

  3. Add beef stock cube, pepper and garlic to mince. Then add peas.

  4. Add 100ml boiled water and 3 tsp of gravy powder. Leave to simmer.

  5. When potatoes are cooked, drain and leave to stand for 2-3 mins. Mash with margarine and milk.

  6. Turn oven on to gas mark 6.

  7. Pour mince mixture into heatproof dish. Spread mashed potato on top. Place in oven.

  8. Take out after 20 mins (which gives you enough time to do some yummy veg)
