A cream cheese alternative. Great on pumpernickel with tomatoes and cucumbers.

Recipe Ingredients for Cottage Cheese Spread

250 grams Western Pressed Cottage Cheese .5% M.F.
1/4 cup, chopped Carrots
1/4 cup, diced Celery
1/2 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 large Onions, Spring Or Scallions

Recipe Directions for Cottage Cheese Spread

  1. Mix all ingredients and serve on pumpernickel bread or Ryvita crispbread.

  2. Note: there are a few pressed cottage cheese products on the market. I based this on Western brand with .05% fat and low sodium.
