Recipe Ingredients for Cottage Cheese Loaf

1 cup small curd cottage cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon onion flakes
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 pound lean ground beef
1/3 cup Cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Cottage Cheese Loaf

  1. In a bowl, combine the first eight ingredients.

  2. Add beef and mix well.

  3. Press into an ungreased 8-in. square baking pan.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese

  5. Bake 10-15 minutes longer or until meat is no longer pink.

  6. Drain; let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
