I mixed brown and white rice and no one knew the difference! Flavourful and filling - the brown rice added good substance.

Recipe Ingredients for Corrie's Mushroom Fried Rice

1 1/4 cups brown rice
1 1/4 cups white rice
2 cups mushrooms
1/2 cup celery
1/4 cup yellow bell pepper
1/4 cup green onion
2 tsp margarine
1 tsp season salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tsp garlic

Recipe Directions for Corrie's Mushroom Fried Rice

  1. Cook rice per package directions.

  2. Saute veggies in non stick pan.

  3. Add rice and season to taste.
