Recipe Ingredients for Cornmeal Wheat Muffins

1 c cornmeal
1 c whole wheat flour
4 tbsp raw sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 c milk
1 large egg
1/4 c honey
1/4 c canola oil
1/4 c wheat bran

Recipe Directions for Cornmeal Wheat Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 425

  2. Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar and baking powder

  3. Lightly beat the milk, egg and oil

  4. Add the liquid to the cornmeal mixture

  5. Beat until combined

  6. Add honey and wheat bran

  7. Beat until smooth

  8. Spoon into greased, lined or non-stick muffin pan

  9. Bake 15-18 minutes
