I made this one using blue cornmeal

Recipe Ingredients for Cornbread

1 3/4 cup corn meal
1 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
7 T butter
3 eggs
1 t salt
1 T baking powder
2 cups corn
1/4 cups sugar
1 green pepper
1/2 onion
1/2 c basil
1 cup tomatoes
1 Jalapenos 1 oz

Recipe Directions for Cornbread

  1. Turn oven to 350. Oil cast iron skillet and heat in overn.

  2. Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, and baking powder. In another bowl mix eggs, oil, and milk.

  3. Mix wet ingredients into dry ones. Stir in butter and corn.

  4. Bake at 350 for about an hour.
