Use any kind of cornmeal. I like Bob's best, Alber's second.

Recipe Ingredients for Cornbread

1 cup cornmeal (Bob's Red Mill)
1 cup whole wheat flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup canola oil
1 egg
1 cup nonfat milk

Recipe Directions for Cornbread

Mix all ingredients together. Bake in a prepared pan at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
