whole grain, low sugar, low fat corn muffins. Makes 12

Recipe Ingredients for Cornbread

1/2 c cornmeal
1 1/4 c whole wheat flour
1/4 c barley malt syrup or agave nectar
3 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 c 2% milk
1 egg
2 tsp butter

Recipe Directions for Cornbread

Mix dry ingred. in bowls. Mix wet ingred. in bowl add all at once to dry stir until mix is wet but not smooth. Bake 400 degrees for 15-20 min.
