Recipe Ingredients for Cornbread

2/3 cup of butter
1 2/3 cups of 1% milk
3 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/3 cup of flour
1 cup corn meal
4 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 tsp of salt

Recipe Directions for Cornbread

  1. cream softened butter and sugar together.

  2. mix eggs and milk in separate bowl.

  3. mix dry ingredients in separate bowl.

  4. combine ingredients, alternating dry mixture with egg mixture to butter and sugar.

  5. Pour into 9 by 13 pan and bake at 400 for 22-27 minutes.
