Low fat cornbread that can be made either sweet or savory.

Recipe Ingredients for Cornbread

1 cup cornmeal
1/3 cup white flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup fat free plain yogurt
1/2 cup corn

Recipe Directions for Cornbread

  1. Mix dry ingredients

  2. Mix wet ingredients

  3. Mix together.

  4. Pour into 8" pan

  5. Bake at 200C 400F for 30-35 min

  6. Add 1/4c of sugar for sweet cornbread or 3 chopped green chillis and an additional teas salt for savory cornbread.
