Cornbread - gluten free and low fat

Recipe Ingredients for Cornbread

1 cup Milk, Buttermilk, Fluid, Cultured, Lowfat
1 cup cornmeal
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 egg
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Cornbread

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

  2. Stir the cornmeal, salt and baking soda together. Add the egg, olive oil and buttermilk and mix well.

  3. Divide between 8 muffins.

  4. Bake at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) for 20 minutes. Remove from oven when top of cornbread is brown.
