Goes great with chili or can be used in cornbread stuffing.

Recipe Ingredients for Cornbread

1 c cornmeal
1/2 c flour
1/2 c whole wheat flour
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1/4 c vegetable oil
3 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp sugar
1 c milk, low fat

Recipe Directions for Cornbread

Mix all ingredients except oil. Heat oil until very hot but not smoking. Carefully add hot oil to batter and mix in. Pour into baking dish, and bake at 450 for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.
