Need Tortilla press & Wax paper

Recipe Ingredients for Corn Tortillas

2 cup Golden Masa Harina Corn Flour
1.33 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1/4 tsp Salt

Recipe Directions for Corn Tortillas

  1. 1.Combine masa, water and salt. Mix well.

  2. 2.Form the dough into a ball and separate the ball into 16 equal portions.

  3. 3.Roll each portion between your hands and slightly flatten each one. You should now have 16 small discs of masa dough.

  4. 4.Place a disc of dough in between the sheets of wax paper and place it in the tortilla press.

  5. 5.Close the press and SQUEEZE!

  6. 6.Heat up a griddle or nonstick pan to medium high heat.

  7. 7.Gently peel away the wax paper from the tortilla and place into the hot pan.

  8. 8.Cook thirty seconds, flip the tortilla and cook another 30 seconds. The tortilla is done when it is browned on both sides and small air pockets begin to form.

  9. Wrap the corn tortillas in a towel to keep warm.
