Recipe Ingredients for corn muffins

1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup skim milk
1/4 cup shortening
1 egg

Recipe Directions for corn muffins

Heat oven to 425. Blend all ingredients about 20 seconds. Beat vigorously 1 minute. Pour into muffin cups. Bake 15 minutes.
