Recipe Ingredients for corn meal dumplings

0.75 cup All Purpose Flour
0.75 cup Cornmeal, Degermed, Enriched, Yellow
3 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1.5 Teaspoon Baking Powder
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.75 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
1.5 tbsp Butter
0.5 cup, chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions

Recipe Directions for corn meal dumplings

  1. Line rimmed baking sheet with plastic wrap.

  2. Whisk first 5 ingredients in medium bowl.

  3. Stir in milk and butter, then green onions.

  4. Let stand at least 1 hour and up to 2 hours.

  5. Using wet hands, shape mixture, 1 tablespoon at a time, into 18 dumplings, arranging on sheet.

  6. Cover; chill.
