this is a halved recipe, double for a full recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Corn Chowder

1 tbsp margarine
1/4 c onion
1/4 c carrot
1/8 c celery
14 1/2 oz corn
1 c vegetable broth
1 3/4 c 2% milk
1/2 c potato
1/8 bell pepper
1/4 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Corn Chowder

  1. saute onion in oil till softening

  2. add carrots, celery, pepper till bright

  3. add thyme & pepper till fragrant

  4. add remaining ingredients except milk

  5. bring to boil and simmer till potato is cooked

  6. add milk and reheat
