Hearty bread that can be served with soups and chili

Recipe Ingredients for Corn bread

1 cup All Purpose Flour
1 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup plain yogurt
2 eggs

Recipe Directions for Corn bread

  1. Preheat oven to 400.

  2. Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Beat eggs then combine with yogurt.

  4. Fold eggs and yogurt into the flour and cornmeal mixture. Do not blend. Batter should be somewhat lumpy.

  5. Pour into 8 x 8 pan.

  6. Bake 20-25 minutes.
