Recipe Ingredients for Corn Bread

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cornmeal
4 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk, lowfat
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for Corn Bread

  1. grease pan

  2. stir together dry ingredients, make a well in the center

  3. stir together the other wet ingredients, then add all at once to the dry mixture. Stir until just moistened.

  4. Spoon batter into pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes and then let cool.
