from Quaker yellow Corn Meal canister

Recipe Ingredients for Corn Bread

1 1/4 c. wheat flour
3/4 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. sugar
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 c. skim milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 egg whites

Recipe Directions for Corn Bread

  1. Heat over to 400.

  2. Grease 8 or 9 inch pan.

  3. Combine all dry ingredients.

  4. Stir in milk, oil, and egg - mixing until just moistened.

  5. Pour batter into pan.

  6. Bake 20-25min.

  7. 9-12 servings
