basic corn bread--adjust sweetness to taste

Recipe Ingredients for Corn Bread

1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
1 cup Cornmeal, Whole-grain, White
3 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt, Table
2 large Egg, White
8 oz Skim Milk Fat Free
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
4 tbsp Sugar

Recipe Directions for Corn Bread

  1. combine dry ingredients

  2. combine wet ingredients

  3. stir just till moistened

  4. spoon into 9x9x2 pan greased 1/2 inch up sides

  5. bake in 425 oven 20-25 minutes or till a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean
