Recipe Ingredients for Corn Bread

1 cup flour
1 cup corn meal
1 cup milk
4 tbsp butter
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Corn Bread

  1. Put the butter in the baking dishes. Put in oven to melt butter.

  2. Mix dry ingredients together.

  3. Then add milk and mix well.

  4. Add the egg, mix well.

  5. Butter should be melted now. Take out of oven, run the melted butter around the bottom of the pans to coat.

  6. Then add excess to the batter. Mix well.

  7. Then add batter to the pans evenly. Bake at 350 degrees F to 400 degrees F till golden brown.
