This recipe is made in a special cast iron pan that provides 7 individual rounds of corn bread.

Recipe Ingredients for Corn Bread

1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup corn meal
1 cup flour
1 T. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 cup milk
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Corn Bread

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Spray each round. Combine dry ingredients; add oil, milk and egg until well blended. Place pan in oven just long enough to heat. Pour batter into hot skillet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
