Recipe Ingredients for Corn Beef and Cabbage in crock pot

1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
48 oz Corned Beef Brisket Select
1 cup Apple Juice
2 oz Sugar Light Brown
1 oz Oranges
1 tsp or 1 packet Mustard, Prepared, Yellow
1/2 tsp Cloves, Ground
2 head, large (about 7" dia) Cabbage

Recipe Directions for Corn Beef and Cabbage in crock pot

  1. Place sliced onions in crockpot.

  2. Trim away any fat that might be present on the corned beef brisket. If needed, cut brisket to fit into crockpot; place on top of onions.

  3. In a bowl combine apple juice, sugar, orange peel, mustard, and cloves; pour over brisket.

  4. Place cabbage on top of brisket. Cover, cook on low setting for 10-12 hours or on high setting for 5-6 hours.
