Recipe Ingredients for Cookie, Sugar Cookie - White Chocolate - Macadamia Nut

1 cup butter, unsalted softened
1 cup sugar, granulated
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour, all purpose
1 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe Directions for Cookie, Sugar Cookie - White Chocolate - Macadamia Nut

  1. In a large bowl put the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt beat until creamy, add the eggs beating until just blended.

  2. Combine flour and baking soda in a small bowl then add to butter mixture, beating until just blended.

  3. Stir in white chocolate and macadamia nuts if desired.

  4. Drop large rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto parchment lined baking sheet about five cookies per sheet.

  5. Bake in 375 oven 8 - 10 minutes until edges are golden brown and the center set.

  6. Cool on wire rack.
