Cookie cake - need to make 3-4 days ahead

Recipe Ingredients for Cookie cake

1 cups butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla
1 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 3/4 cups flour
32 ounces cool whip

Recipe Directions for Cookie cake

make cookie dough - cream butter (softened), and vanilla, add in egg, vanilla, then dry (flour, soda and powder). On bake side of cake pan, spread out cookie dough mixture (leaving 3/4 inch from edge empty). cook 8-10 minutes. Take off and cool - do this 6 times. Once big cookies are done, put cookie on plate, spread cool whip. Add another cookie, alternating until all 6 cookies have been used. Put cool whip on top and around whole cake. Refrigerate 3-4 days (cool whip soaks into cookie, making it taste like a cake. Cut small pieces, very rich.
