Recipe Ingredients for Cooked Sausage

5 links cooked pork sausage, net from 1 pound large fresh sausages (check weight)

Recipe Directions for Cooked Sausage

  1. Panfry: Place sausage or patties into a cold skillet or Dutch oven. Add 2-4 Tbsp water (3 worked for 6 large sausages). Heat to boiling, cover and simmer 5-8 minutes (12 minutes for 6 large sausages). Cook uncovered until brown and firm.

  2. Bake (haven't tried this method): Arrange sausages in a single layer on a cold baking pan with sides. Bake at 400 for 20-30 minutes until done, turning once and removing drippings.
