Recipe Ingredients for Cooked Lentils

1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup dried lentils
1/2 onion chopped
1 tomato
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Cooked Lentils

  1. Brown onions in vegetable oil

  2. add spices

  3. add tomato

  4. add water

  5. simmer until cooked.
