cooked collards - super leafy greens

Recipe Ingredients for cooked collard greens

16 oz chopped raw collard greens
4 oz chopped raw onion
1/2 oz chopped garlic
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for cooked collard greens

  1. saute garlic and onions in olive oil until soft

  2. add collard greens and stir to combine

  3. pour in chicken broth, stir and cover.

  4. cook, stirring occasionally, until collards are soft, approximately 35-45 minutes

  5. salt and pepper to taste
