Recipe Ingredients for Congee - Chicken, Vegetable and chick peas

1 cup rice
3 leeks
1 cup chick peas
2 carrots
400 g tomatoes
1 tbsp sesame seed oil
225 g chicken breast

Recipe Directions for Congee - Chicken, Vegetable and chick peas

  1. Soak chickpeas overnight, boil rapdily for 10 minutes

  2. 1 cup of rice to 5 water in rice cooker - set to congee (3 horus)

  3. 1 hour in add in the chickpeas

  4. 2 horus in add chicken breast, diced

  5. Prepare vegetables, chop and boil for 10 minutes with tin of tomatoes

  6. Once congee is ready add in cooked vegetables and sesame oil to flavour
