Recipe Ingredients for Condensed Soup Homemade

2 cups non-fat dry milk
3/4 cup corn starch
1/4 cup Instant chicken bouillon
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon butter

Recipe Directions for Condensed Soup Homemade

  1. Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container. To use as a substitute for a one 10 1/2 can condensed soup, mix 1/3 cup dry mix with 1 1/4 cup water in a saucepan. Cook and stir until thickened.

  2. Add 1 table spoon of butter if desired.

  3. Try low sodium bouillon to reduce sodium

  4. Makes 9 cans of condensed soup
