This is a way to eat the three tablespoons of sesame seeds for lowering bad cholesterol.

Recipe Ingredients for Complete Breakfast Oats

1/2 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 cups water
1 chopped apple
4 chopped dates
10 chopped almonds
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Complete Breakfast Oats

  1. Add oats and water to medium sized cooking pot. Bring to a boil and lower heat to medium. Add chopped apple and cook for a couple of minutes on medium and then lower heat and cook for 10 minutes.

  2. Put all other ingredients in chopper and grind or chop until fine.

  3. Sprinkle ground ingredients over top of cooked oats.
