32 oz Ground Turkey Breast, 99% Fat-free
2 can Chick Peas
15 1/2 oz Dark Red Kidney Beans
29 oz Tomato Sauce
7 oz White Onion
1 1/2 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Comandante David's Five Pepper Chile con Carne

  1. Heat 1.5 oz. extra virgin olive oil in large soup pot

  2. Brown chopped onions, whole black pepper corns

  3. Add five whole dried chipotle peppers and meat

  4. Add chile powder, stir

  5. Add beans using juice from the can

  6. Add one tablespoon cumin for each pound of meat, or to taste, stir

  7. Add tomato sauce

  8. Add pinch of oregano

  9. Add pinch of rosemary

  10. Add pinch of whole cumin seeds, stir, let come to simmer and leave on low flame for at least one hour.
