Recipe Ingredients for Colourful vegan split pea soup for the soul

10 cups water
2 cups carrots, chopped
1 1/2 cup leeks, chopped
1 cup green split peas
1/2 cup yellow split peas
1/2 cup red lentils
2 tbsp fresh marjoram

Recipe Directions for Colourful vegan split pea soup for the soul

Chop vegetables while bringing water to boil. Add a few bay leaves, marjoram, and all ingredients. You can add some miso or tamari sauce if you like those. Simmer on low medium heat for one hour ; blend with an immersible blender until smooth to your liking. This soup keeps well and can be reheated but one may need to add some more water.
