Again, a variation of Whole Living Magazine's Kale Slaw recipe, this time with the sunflower seeds tracked separately to improve accuracy of calorie tracking.

Recipe Ingredients for Collard Slaw II (Hold the Sunflower Seeds)

3 cup, chopped Collards
1 cup, chopped Cabbage
1/2 cup, chopped Cabbage, Red
3 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
3 medium Carrots
2 tbsp Olive Oil
3 tsp Classic Dijon Mustard
0.13 cup (8 fl oz) Water
4 tablespoon Cider Vinegar

Recipe Directions for Collard Slaw II (Hold the Sunflower Seeds)

  1. Shred all veggies.

  2. Mix liquids to create a dressing.

  3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste.

  4. Blend well.

  5. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

  6. Enjoy.
