A pretty traditional coleslaw recipe, with a little less mayo than normal.

Recipe Ingredients for Coleslaw

1/2 head green cabbage, cored and cut into 3-inch chunks, then shredded
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 large carrot, coarsely grated
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Coleslaw

  1. Combine cabbage, onion and carrot in a large bowl.

  2. In a small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Stir dressing into cabbage mixture and chill for at least 1 hour to allow vegetables to wilt and flavors to blend.
