Whole wheat organic spaghettini with cruncy vegetables and spicy sesame soy dressing is high in dietary fiber and vitamins A and C. Pack it for lunch; no microwaving necessary!

Recipe Ingredients for Cold Whole Wheat Pasta with Soy Dressing

8 oz Organic whole wheat Spaghettini
1 tsp sesame oil
1 red bell pepper, diced
10 baby carrots, sliced
3 green onions, sliced, greens only
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 T. light sesame oil
2 T. lime juice
1 oz. seasoned rice vinegar
2 tsp Ground Fresh Chili Paste
1/4 cup cilantro
1 T. toasted sesame seeds

Recipe Directions for Cold Whole Wheat Pasta with Soy Dressing

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling water according to package directions. Rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Toss until dry then coat with the 1 tsp. of sesame oil.

  2. Whle pasta is cooking dice the red bell pepper, slice the carrots and green onions. Toss with the prepared pasta.

  3. Mix the liquid ingredinets and pour over the pasta and vegetables. Sprinkle with cilantro and toasted dark sesame seeds as desired.
