Victoria sponge cake with coffee flavour buttercream

Recipe Ingredients for Coffee and pistachio cake

6 oz self-raising flour
6 oz Flora spread
6 oz light brown sugar
3 eggs
8 oz icing sugar
4 oz Flora spread
1 tsp instant coffee
25 g pistachio nuts

Recipe Directions for Coffee and pistachio cake

  1. Mix the first 4 ingredients then bake in 2 tins at gas mark 5.

  2. mix the icing sugar, coffee and butter to make the filling and icing

  3. Crush the pistachio nuts and decorate the top with them.
