Recipe Ingredients for Coddle (Without the Sausages)

1 Chicken Breast, Chopped
6 slices Turkey Bacon, Diced
3 medium Potatoes
2 cups Carrots
2 Onions, Diced
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon thyme
1 tablespoon parsley
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
1/8 teaspoon Bay Leaves
1/8 teaspoon Oregano
1/8 teaspoon Celery Salt

Recipe Directions for Coddle (Without the Sausages)

  1. Put stock into large stewing pot. Boil on high heat.

  2. Add diced potatoes, baby carrots, diced onions, garlic, herbs and seasonings.

  3. Add chopped turkey bacon.

  4. Add 3 large chicken bratwursts.

  5. Bring to boil and reduce to simmer.

  6. Simmer on low for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

  7. Eat and enjoy!
