Recipe Ingredients for Coconut Pie

8 oz Coconut
1 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
0.5 cup 100% Liquid Egg Whites
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp Willow Run Soybean Margarine
2 tbsp Light Stick
0.13 cup Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
1 crust Pie Crust Graham

Recipe Directions for Coconut Pie

  1. Defrost your shredded, unsweetened coconut. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Melt your margarine. Any margarine is fine, as long as you have 1/4. I used a blend due to me having random tablespoons left over.

  3. In a large bowl, put your coconut and butter in it. Add one cup of milk, 1/2 a cup of egg white substitute, one teaspoon of vanilla extract, preferred sweetener and two tablespoons of flour.

  4. Mix until all combined.

  5. Place in the crust.

  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until firm in the middle.
