Recipe Ingredients for Coconut Pecan Frosting

14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/3 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Recipe Directions for Coconut Pecan Frosting

  1. Combine condensed milk, egg yolks, and butter.

  2. Stirring constantly, cook until bubbly (about 10 minutes.)

  3. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, then fold in coconut and pecans.

  4. Cool at least 15 minutes before spreading on cake.
