Recipe Ingredients for Coconut Macaroons

14 oz Coconut Meat, Dried (Desiccated), Not Sweetened
14 oz Condensed Milk
2 large Egg, White
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
0.25 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Coconut Macaroons

Preheat oven to 325. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine coconut, condensed milk, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Whip the eggs and salt with an electric mixer until hard peaks form. Fold into coconut mixture. Measure out cookies in two heaping spoonfuls onto the pans. Bake until golden brown, approximately 25 minutes. Cool on paper. Optional: top with melted chocolate and allow to harden.
